I have shown dogs since 1992 both in obedience and conformation. I have finished
three CD's, a CDX, two draft titles and an RE on three Bernese Mountain Dogs during that time. All three were nationally ranked among Bernese when they
obtained their titles and placed multiple times in all breed shows. My current Berner, Gatsby, finished his Championship last year and has gone on to finish
his RE and NDD this year. He is working on his CDX and his advanced draft titles.
My Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Ruby, has a CDX, a RAE and two HIT's and is training for her UD. My Golden Retriever, Cinnamon completed her CD and RN
with multiple placements this year after taking time off to have a beautiful litter with CH. Tempo's Easy Rider last summer.
All my dogs are active in Animal Assisted Therapy with Therapet and I serve as that foundation's Medical Director. I also serve on the Grants Review Committee
for the AKC Canine Health Foundation.

I began training and showing dogs in 1983 and fell in love with the sport. Since then I have
put over 50 Obedience, Rally, and Draft titles on a variety of breeds including 8 High In Trials (HIT'S) & 2 Dog World Awards.
In the Spring of 2008 my golden retriever, Aida, was inducted into the Texas Animal Hall of Fame by the Texas Veterinary Medical Association for her work in
Animal Assisted Therapy. In 2010, Whisper, my Bernese Mountain Dog won the triathlete award at the National Specialty.
I continue to enjoy showing in obedience, rally, and drafting as often as I can with my Berner, Whisper (Nashems Dream a Little Dream RAE, CDX,ANDD, MDD,
ABDD). I also have a 15 month old Berner I have begun to train named Hope. She shows tremendous promise. Ripple, Lazy Paw's Fudge Ripple is our golden
retriever show girl. Currently she has 9 points including a 3 point major at the Austin Specialty. With her hips, elbows, heart and eyes cleared we will be looking
for a sire for her first litter in the Spring 2011.
I am proud to be the Executive Director of Therapet Foundation. We train and certify animals to work throughout East Texas in hospitals, schools, rehabilitation
centers and psychiatric facilities. We have been a non profit organization serving East Texas since 1994 and are about to certify our 100th active animal in the program!
